Chances are you've already heard of Adam Saaks, the t-shirt cutting swashbuckler. I first saw him in a YouTube vidwielding his tailoring shears and going all Fruit Ninja on busty babes in Ed Hardy tees. His technique involves cutting the fabric, and weaving or braiding the strands into beautiful skin-baring patterns.

It's daring, it shows a little skin, but I think it adds feminine sensuality to any ensemble. Tights look great on anyone, and are versatile enough be paired with a variety of tops. Celebs like Paris Hilton and Kendall and Kylie Jennerhave been spotted wearing really nice ripped up leggings from David Lerner.

Some really nice slashed and cut-out leggings were available at Forever 21, but appear to be sold out.

While really lovely, it seems that everywhere I looked, these elusive cut-up leggings were either sold out or out of my price range. Why?!? Necessity is the mother of invention and I started working on some old tights of my own, and the pictures on this post are some cutting and weaving techniques I'm happy with.

More designs will be available when I add them to the catalogue! Click HERE to view the album on Facebook!

This was one is a little more conservative as the slashes in the fabric are more subdued. Credits to my awesome cousin for letting me boss her around the entire day from behind a camera on a sunny Sunday! We had so much fun. :B

Absolutely lovely faux denim fabric!
